Room to let in cottage just outside Edinburgh

2 bedroom cottage situated on the A702 near Easter Bush campus.

The property has had a new kitchen/dining room extension this year and is to a good standard throughout. There is parking at the property and a garage that could be partly used for bike, tools etc if required. There is a garden front and back mostly hard landscaped. There is LPG central heating and a stove in the living room. The room for let is currently empty with a new carpet and freshly painted and can be furnished to suit the person. The room is upstairs and there is a bathroom upstairs that the person will almost have sole use of.

So far I have lived in the house myself for just over a year but work a lot and am not making full use of it. I have my own business and am normally away early in the morning and often work at weekends too. I tend to be home in the evenings and like to relax watching TV or a film with a beer or two now and then. I am looking for someone who is also fairly work focused and not out every night coming home late making a noise or a mess. The house is always clean and tidy and the person sharing would need to be like this themselves too for it to work out.

I am a sociable person and like to get on with people and would be keen for someone similar who is outgoing and friendly but also sometimes likes a bit of peace and quiet too. I am very active in both work and gym but enjoy good food and craft beers.

The location would be suited to someone who likes the outdoors, wants to live close to Edinburgh but in the countryside. There is a bus past the property (101/102) which goes into town via Morningside into Lothian Road, but it is not as frequent as Lothian buses.
