I have a large house with 4 bedrooms, a study and bathroom upstairs. My kids are grown up and moved away from home, so I rent out 2 of the bedrooms upstairs. One of my current lodgers is moving out at the end of December so looking to re-let her bedroom. The occupancy date is negotiable.

I've moved downstairs, so away from the upstairs bedrooms. I'm pretty easy-going and laid back. I work full-time from home and have two dogs, one of which is a rescue dog I'm fostering. I'm happy to help out with anything, be sociable or stay out of your way. I think the house will have everything you need.

It's a big house so plenty of space and a big garden. The house is very peaceful and a minute's walk to the bus stop for the 37 bus which goes to Roslin/Penicuik/Bush Estate southbound and Edinburgh city centre northbound.

There is a separate dining room, living room, shared kitchen and utility room. Both the kitchen and living room have a TV for your use.

Cleaning is provided as well as essentials such as towels/bedlinen/toilet roll/paper towel. There are smoke alarms upstairs and downstairs. The house has wood-burning stoves in the dining room and sitting room and there is gas central heating with a carbon-monoxide detector.

Lots of room for parking in the drive and use of the garden. There is a large attic for indoor storage and garage for outdoor storage.

The house is a couple of minutes away from a swimming pool/leisure centre and 10 mins walk away from a shopping complex with supermarkets. I usually help out with trips to the supermarket in my car.
