Marchmont flat looking for second flatmate

Hi, I'm a male PhD student looking for a flatmate for a well-located, two bedroom flat in Marchmont. It’s located near the Meadows and is a 10 minute walk to George Square.

My current flatmate will start a new job after finishing her degree and is moving out of town. The landlord has told me I can continue the lease if I find a new flatmate to co-sign with so I'm looking to find someone fairly quickly. I'm looking for someone friendly, clean, and should be a student as well.

The flat has a shared living room with a couch and armchair, and the kitchen has all the necessary amenities such as fridge, freezer, microwave, and washing machine. The bathroom will be shared; however, the shower and toilet are in separate rooms so they can be used simultaneously. The room available has a double bed, desk, large wardrobe, dresser, and has a nice view onto the street.

The rent per month is £575. This doesn't include Wifi and Utilities, which has so far amounted to around £40 each per month in winter. However, this may change depending on the provider.

I'm a German PhD student at the Edinburgh Business School. I have moved her from Munich and have previously lived in Sweden, England, Kenya, and USA. I like all kinds of sports and have become quite the outdoorsy person. I also like cooking and movies. I’m a sociable flatmate who would like to hang out with the person I live with, but also enjoy my own time.
