Double room to rent in Marchmont - 2 live-in cats

Hi there,

I am a 24 year old History PhD Student living in Marchmont with two six month old kittens. I am pretty sociable and tidy and will spend a lot of my time working at the University. I am new to Edinburgh so would love to make new friends and live with someone sociable and open minded who will be a pal to my cats. People of all backgrounds and identities are very welcome!

I am looking for a non-smoker female flatmate who is friendly with cats and doesn't mind living with indoor ones and all that comes with this.. Student or Professional is fine as long as you're not constantly coming in at 4 am making noise from freshers, although of course by all means have a life!

The flat is on the 3rd floor and there is unfortunately no lift, so it would not be suitable for people with accessibility requirements. The building is a mixture of families, young professionals and a couple airbnbs. There is a small shared garden that does not see much usage and bikes are usually kept at the bottom of the stairs in the communal area. The meadows is at one end of the street and the other hosts a little high street with two pubs, several restaurants, a bookshop and a Scotmid Co-op. Marchmont Road, Newington and Bruntsfield are close by.

The room has a small double bed and a large window, wardrobe and small corner desk.

- Shared bathroom with bath/shower combo
- Kitchen with washer/dryer, lots of storage space, pop-up breakfast table, oven and gas stove
- Living room with sofa, dining room table, armchair and fireplace.

*All bills and broadband included - but if you're not a student you will be liable for the council tax (band C) as presently I am not paying any due to my student status*
