Lovely 2 bed tenement flat at the bottom of Morningside Road near the Hermitage pub. Close to Morningside Bus Station with routes into town and all the way down to Leith. Lots of local shops and cafes and close to Blackford and Braid Hills. Large spacious living room and a separate well equipped kitchen/diner. The room on offer is roughly 4x4m with a double bed, desk and large built in wardrobe.
Would be ideal for a young worker/professional. Students welcome if you are willing to contribute to council tax.
Rent for the room on offer starts 1st Feb at £450/month but may increase to £500 (with 3 months notice).
Still working out bills but we're looking at around £35 a month plus £150 for council tax which we can split between the two of us.
We have fast Virgin fibre Wifi and all the regular amenities. Private landlord is pretty hands off, but quick to respond to emergencies.
There is nearby parking (I think a permit is required)
I'm 22 years old and work at a charity. I moved from up from Liverpool at the start of 2020 to be closer to my girlfriend who studies at the University Of Edinburgh. I'm tidy, easy going, vegetarian and love cooking. My main hobby/part time job is music; I teach trumpet and record/produce music. When lockdown eases a little I will occasionally have 2 or 3 people round to jam and record with and host my church home group once in a while.
