I have a second floor flat available to rent on a short-term / flexible contract, whilst I am working abroad.

You will have the entire place to yourself. It is private and peaceful, with modern kitchen and wood-burner.

Large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with separate bedroom and bathroom (roughly 80M2)

Flat is furnished though this is negotiable as there is a storage room that we can store things in so if you want to bring your own stuff or a mix that is negotiable.

Only suitable for a professional worker / contractor that wants to live in private comfort. I need a mature person who will look after the space as this is my home (as I don’t want drunken parties for example).

Couples considered (add £150 per month)

Rent to include water and broadband. You will need to cover electric (this can easily be switched over to you) and council tax can remain set up in my name. Council tax band A £95 per month

I am putting this out early to see how much interest there may be. So these details may change as I develop the idea.

No pets / no groups / no children

Please note that this property is electric only. The cost isn’t that much of an issue as the electric boiler is very efficient plus no gas standing charges. There are electric radiators and a wood-burner in the lounge. The bedroom has been double insulated and thus warms up in less than 5 minutes and stays warm. You will need to buy/get wood for the wood burner as the electric rads in living room are not hugely cost efficient to leave on all day.

I also have the place for sale so the person who takes it will need to be flexible incase the sale goes through quickly so would prefer a 1 month rolling type scenario (1 month deposit - £650 or £800).

Would suit someone / a couple in limbo waiting for new home to go through or new job relocation.
