Location amenities

The flat is located a few minutes’ walk from a group of local shops, and 6-7 minute walk / 3 min cycle ride from an Aldi Store (Larkman Lane). A little further afield there is a Tesco Express (Fiveways roundabout, near UEA) which caters to a student market, and is therefore open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is approximately a 25 minute walk, or a 10 minute cycle ride from the UEA campus for access to state-of-the-art sports facilities, gigs etc, even if you are not registered there as a student.

It is a 3-5 minute walk from a bus-stop, for buses into the city centre (along Dereham Road), and buses take about 15-20 minutes to get there.

Travel

To UEA - approximately 1.2 miles to the edge of campus, equivalent to a 25-30 minute walk, or a 10 minute cycle ride. It is approximately another 0.5 miles to the centre of the campus.

To NUA (city centre) – 30-35 minutes (approximately 20-25 minute bus ride with a 5 minute walk at each end). Buses run throughout the day, every 15-20 minutes until about 18.30, then at roughly 30 minute intervals until around 23.00. [Based on current timetables]

Cycling: approximately 18 minutes, (just under 3 miles).

Rent – £340 per person / room per calendar month, equivalent to £78.46 per week.

Utilities - the costs of supplying gas, electricity, water, broadband etc. are shared between the tenants. An all-inclusive bills package (electricity, gas, water, broadband and TV licence) is available from a company called Unihomes for this property. It is currently (as at 23/04/2022) quoting £31 per person per week for it. However, it is entirely up you whether you want to take it.

Deposit - the normal deposit is £392 per person.

Guarantors - We normally require student tenants to provide a UK-based guarantor but can come to an alternative arrangement for overseas (or home) students if they are unable to do so. Please ask for further details if you need them

Fees - There are NO application fees for any of our properties.
