Room has an IKEA day bed so can be single or double with under bed storage. Wardrobe, dressing table and bedside table in room. Kettle, hairdryer and radio all in the room. Linens included. Access to living room and use of kitchen and all white goods (ovens, washer and dishwasher) hob, fridge space and boiling water tap. Downstairs cloakroom and upstairs bathroom. Parking in private courtyard. Broadband. All bills included except Council Tax which is variable from year to year. Rent reflects the current price of heating oil and electricity. For Monday to Friday lets the rent will be £100. I am happy to accept short lets from 2 -4 weeks the rate is £150 per week.

Two friendly dogs live at the property so animal loving is a must.

The house is in the attractive village of Escrick and has been converted from the old school. The village has excellent access by car or bus to York, and boasts a gastro pub with spa. There is a doctor’s surgery and excellent shop in the village petrol station.

I am an active 60 year old widow working full time in a school , despite being a qualified teacher I choose to work as a TA. I have two dogs and I spend time walking and running them, sewing and seeing my two grown up children.
