Hello! I bought my first home last year and my first lodger/housemate/friend has recently flown the nest, so I’m looking for someone new.
The bed, mattress, carpets etc were bought all brand new when I moved in and I’ve decorated the room so it has a really nice feel to it. I actually prefer it to my own room!!
Vue Cinema, Pure Gym, Tesco and various restaurants and shops are a 5-10 minute walk away. There’s regular buses into town, including the nearby park & ride where it’s 15 mins straight into town. Also space for your car on the drive if you have one.
I’ve been a lodger before so I know how important it is to live somewhere clean and tidy, where your own space is respected, and where you feel relaxed and welcome. I’m keen to create that and would like to live with someone who could be a friend too. I work long hours (currently at home) but pre Covid I enjoyed eating out, coffee shops, gin bars, cinema, catching up with friends, gym etc. I also love travelling. There’s a lovely lake nearby (see the pic) and the river is 10-15 mins away - a scenic walk into town! I also like to chill with a pizza and binge watch box sets on Netflix or Amazon Prime...
