The location of my property is in a quiet residential area of Rawcliffe, near to the ring road. It’s a great location for getting to the centre of York (walking or catching the bus which runs every 10 minutes), and to the hospital as well as the railway station. It is close to the Ings, a nature conservation area and the cycle path is a very pleasant, easy walk into town (about 40 minutes walk). The quicker route to walk is down the main road, and this too is very pleasant. The bus stop is close and buses run every 10 minutes to and from the centre of town via the railway station.
The room is a nice double room with a 3/4 sized bed and plenty of wardrobe space. It comes with a bathroom which isn’t en-suite but is next door to the room. It is a detached house and the room overlooks my enclosed garden.
I am retired from a career in education and love to spend time pottering about in my garden and home. I’m a friendly, quiet person and do like my own space. My home is spotlessly clean and tidy and I would only share with someone who would value that.
I’m looking to share with a professional female, who works full time and has a secure job.
