Double Room In Relaxing Shared Home

Hi there,

I have 1 double room to let, available now.

I am looking for 1 housemate to join our relaxed shared home. We do not accept couples.

I do not live in the home but regularly visit and stay over in the box room, checking housemates are happy, warm and comfortable, with everything they need, cleaning, gardening and maintenance.

Our current housemates include one male housemate on the ground floor and one female housemate on the first floor. The available room is the second room on the first floor. We never have more than 3 people living in the home.

Our home is very much a home, not a party house. Housemates very much enjoy their peace, and living with each other in a respectful and easy going way.

We embrace diversity and encourage all walks of people to apply including people of other cultures, younger or more mature people, LGBTQ+ and those with disabilities or Autism (our home is not wheelchair accessible).

We also welcome applications from those who have visiting children (we run DBS on all housemates), and consult all housemates living in the home at any time their preferences for a new housemate.

You will not be asked to increase your rent at any time or pay utility subsidies in the period of your lease, regardless of utility prices.

I have not used panoramic photos. All photos accurately reflective of sizes.

There is a shared lounge, kitchen, the bathroom with shower and bath is shared, patio, large garden and on street parking. The home is in a quiet street.

The kitchen is really well equipped, with every utensil known to man, dishwasher, tumble dryer, washing machine, microwave etc. The home is really lovely and warm in the winter and we always have constant hot water and plenty of heating controlled by housemates.

Smoking is permitted outside only. Neither tobacco smoking or vaping is permitted in the home.

Rent includes all bills, internet etc.

We want our home to be a safe, friendly and relaxed home for all our housemates and so all of the checks below, including DBS will be undertaken.

We have a strict vetting procedure. We owe it to our wonderful housemates. If you will not be able to pass the following checks please do not contact us:

We are council tax band B
