Lovely house and garden (mostly yours!)

I am looking to rent out a double room in my two bed terrace house in Poet's Corner. The house is a Victorian mid-terrace and is cosy and comfortable, with an open plan living / dining room, fitted kitchen, open fire for warm eves in and upstairs bathroom. Washing machine, GCH, wifi etc.

The room has new fluffy carpet, double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and built in cupboard, so lots of storage.

Outside, is a large sunny garden, with a patio, lawn and a veggie patch which I have been cultivating.

I have lovely neighbours both sides, and the area is handy for shops on Kingsley Park Terrace, as well as close to the Racecourse, Abington Park and a quick bus ride or 20 minute walk to town. The street is one way, and there is no permit on street parking.

I am a 43 year old artist/therapist with one affectionate and noisy cat called Ziggy.

I am looking for someone easy going, thoughtful, calm and responsible to share the space, who would also be happy to have the house to themselves for periods of time. Over the coming months I will be time away, and I would love to leave my home and my garden in the care of someone who can use it, love it and look after it, sometimes with and sometimes without Ziggy.

If you have an interest in gardening that would be a major plus! as there is potential to grow all your own veg. Love of houseplants would also be a plus.

I am considering shorter term rents (3-6) months, as my situation is flexible.

I am aiming to do some viewing the week of the 17th May and after.
