The room
A huge upstairs double, fully cleaned, very nicely fully furnished in traditional excellent wood & features.
Large wardrobes, draws, chair, enormous table/desk & bed with views over the lovely & large gardens.

South facing with lots of beautiful natural light. Wonderfully quiet & peaceful.

The house
4 bedroom but will only be myself and you as it's much nicer than living in a full house.
Also leaves a spare downstairs double bedroom you can use for storage or as a study or bicycle or guests etc.
Decent kitchen with all utensils, storage space & space for bikes in the house & large weatherproof shed, a spare upstairs room for additional storage, also a fantastic large patio and garden which gets lots of sun all year & grows lots of fruit.
Excellent neighbours.
Safest area in Notts.

Free, safe, easy parking - no permits or applications required, never had crime or damage.

2 minute walk to nearest & excellent pub, 4 mintues walk to lady bay shops, 5 minutes walk to West bridgford high street (great bars, shops, restaurants, parks).

Garden
Large, can be used for growing anything you like. Also great for exercising in, relaxing, BBQs, drinks, sun bathing, star gazing, enjoying the wildlife etc. Decent garden seats.

The Location
Nicest for miles around - very peaceful road & area, surrounded by great parks & easy walking distance to bars, cafes, supermarkets, tennis courts, gyms, tennis courts, post office, restaurants (Lady Bay & West Bridgford).

20 mins walk to Nottingham city centre, 5 mins on a bus or Uber, 20 mins walk to Nottingham Train Station, bus stops 3 mins from house.

Either end of the house's road is a car-free cycle/ walking route along river & canal (to Beeston, Grantham, Nottingham, Long Eaton etc) & 10 minutes walk to Holme Pierpoint National watersports centre. Amazing for walks, running, cycling, watersports, relaxing etc.

Me
I work from home (academic) a few days a week & I'm very clean, quiet, calm, friendly, respectful, positive & considerate so would prefer the same characteristics in a housemate, ideally a professional working out of the house during work hours.

I've had housemates before, both men & women younger & older, & it always works well.

Room & house is available from now, no minimum or maximum timeframe. Would consider short-term or long-term.
