Fully furnished, recently renovated room to rent with friendly female (home-owner) in cosy, homely maisonette in Cholsey. The room is £575 for a 7-day/full time let. This includes all bills including council tax and the fastest broadband in the area - Virgin, Netflix, spotify etc

The room is furnished with a high quality king size divan bed with storage. There is also a large double cupboard and 2 sets of drawers, a large ladder shelving unit, some wall mounted shelves, 2 bedside tables, 2 lamps, a dressing table with mirror, a chair, a full length mirror. The room had just had brand new John Lewis curtains and a wooden venetian blind fitted.

As a lodger you have access to the bathroom with a bath/power-shower, a good-sized kitchen where you will have space in the fridge/freezer and cupboards for food, a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave etc. There is part/shared access to the dinning/living room which has a wood-burning stove. The maisonette has a south-west facing private garden in the back, nearby on-street parking, and a small balcony. There is also access to storage in a nearby garage if needed. Brand new carpets and solid wooden doors were fitted throughout the flat earlier this year.

Situated in the pretty Oxfordshire village of Cholsey, the first-floor maisonette is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with no traffic, in the centre of the village and has its own entrance and garden. There is a train station 12 minutes walk away with easy access to Reading (20 minutes), Oxford (25 minutes) and London (60 minutes). There are also buses to both, and to the nearby town of Wallingford.

The village has a few local shops just 2 minutes walk away including a small late-opening Tesco with cashpoint and post-office, a hairdressers, butchers, cafe and pharmacy. There is lots to do in Cholsey which has a pub, an Indian and a Chinese resturaunt, a gym, tennis courts, parks, the river Thames and lots of clubs, sports groups and societies.

I am looking for a clean, tidy considerate flatmate to join myself (home-owner), Grace (flatmate) and my cat George who is very friendly. I am friendly and approachable, laid back and looking for the right person to join our home.
