Due to accepting a job in Sheffield I’m leaving my room in Oxford, and I am looking for a replacement tenant for the remainder of the this year’s contract (Mid March - 2nd September). Rent is £460 pcm and bills are approximately £70 on top of this.

The room features a double bed, chest of drawers, desk, wardrobe, shelves, and a separate clothes rail. Plenty of storage for most things, I have a surfboard and a guitar hidden in the space at the foot of the bed! The window overlooks the street, on which there is on-street parking (but you’ll need a permit). Free parking is <5minute walk away if needed.

There is a shower in the upstairs bathroom, and a second toilet downstairs. The kitchen has recently had a new electric hob, and is fitted with the usual kettle, toaster, fridge, freezer etc.

The house has been amongst friends for many years and has a nice friendly vibe. It is situated close enough to the city centre to walk (30 min) or the bus takes 15 minutes. Both the A34 and A40 are not far away. Other housemates are young professionals, and one is a PhD student. Cooking is often done communally, and there is an organic veg box delivered every week, as well as an organic bulk food order every couple of months (tinned veg and pulses, pasta, cooking oils etc.) so this would suit someone who doesn’t shy away from the hob! There is also a veg patch in the garden to supplement the other food throughout the year!

Other house hobbies include, but are not limited to: slide guitar, sewing and textiles, painting, folk music, gardening and veg growing, cycling, and wild swimming.
