Double room in Cowley houseshare

Hi there!

I'm one of the current tenants in this 3-bed houseshare in Cowley, and we are currently looking for a new housemate for when our current housemate leaves in December at the end of her PhD exchange year.

You would be sharing with Tania, a postdoc historian, and me (Dan), a human rights researcher in the law faculty - we are both friendly and relaxed, and try to have a balance in the house between being sociable together and leading independent lives.

As well as professionals, graduate students/DPhils would be welcome too, just with the caveat that Council Tax is one of the bills that will be included in the rent.

The room is a fairly big ground floor room with a double bed, in a Victorian terraced house with lots of character.

About the house:

There are two bathrooms, one downstairs with a shower and one upstairs with a cast iron bath. This bedroom is on the ground floor at the front of the house.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. Other facilities include washing machine, tumble dryer, central heating and a 60MB internet connection, as well as a garden at the back of the house.

The house is close to bus stops (approx. 30m), buses go every 5/10 mins to the city centre and it takes about 15 mins to get there. Cycling to the centre takes the same amount of time or a little less.

The price of £610 p/m includes all bills (water, gas, electricity, internet, Council Tax).

There are no parking restrictions in this area, so cars can be parked anywhere on nearby streets.
