Female Sharer for central Oxford Homeshare

A new Homeshare opportunity has arisen in semi-self contained accommodation in the basement of a Woodstock Road home. The elderly Householder, an independently-minded retired health professional, is looking for the right person to provide quiet, reassuring presence, first and foremost. Help with a little light housework might also be appreciated and, in time, the odd conversation over a cup of tea could be welcome. Someone who might be able to help keep a garden tidy would be a benefit and someone who appreciates classical music and might enjoy going to concerts could be a bonus.

This opportunity would suit a responsible, independent, mature, considerate female who would, ideally, be looking for an open-ended arrangement in which the Homeshare could develop gradually over time. The Householder understands that the Sharer may be out at work during the day. Equally, it would be fine if the Sharer needed to work from home some of the time. Definitely, someone who spends more time in rather than out in the evenings would be preferable. Similarly, it is important to find someone who would not often be away overnight, with the exception of course of holidays and the odd weekend.

The accommodation is quite basic and only semi-furnished. Kitchen equipment and crockery is not provided, for example. The bathroom is bath only, no shower. It would be perfect for someone who like to ‘make the space their own’.
