Ramsden village is about 15 minutes away from Brize Norton, less than 10 minutes from Witney which has a very frequent bus service to Oxford (6 buses an hour direct to Oxford centre and a new service that goes direct to the JR and Oxford Brookes). It is less than 20 minutes to Chipping Norton and only 10 minutes away from Charlbury which has main-line trains to Oxford and London.

This lovely sunny double ensuite bedroom looks over the back garden and onto surrounding countryside. The room has a wardrobe, drawers under the bed, a bedside table and lamps, a comfy armchair, and a spacious private shower and basin.

Share the farmhouse kitchen, an enormous walk-through living area with wood-burning stove and dining area, large garden with deck-chairs and a hammock, and off-road parking. Garage available for storage but not parking.

Ramsden is a small and pretty village, very quiet and peaceful: at night, the loudest noise comes from the owls. There are two pubs close by but you will need a car or a bike to get to the shops and other facilities.

I have two very well-behaved dogs but they do get excited when they meet new people. I will consider tenants with dogs if they have the right temperament (the dogs, that is). Cats would not last five minutes as they are regarded as walking lunch.

Age doesn't matter but I am looking for someone who has the maturity to co-exist considerately with other people and who will respect and take care of their surroundings.

It is strictly Monday-Friday only (please don't ask if you can stay weekends!). My partner, who visits at the weekend wants us to have the house to ourselves.
