If you're looking for the perfect place for a bit of peace and relaxation, or even a place to retire to then this could be it. It's a very quiet and laid back household, (no loud music or parties) where you will have the place to yourselves for most of the time. (flat mate usualy works away for most of the week) and respect is always shown for people's peace, quiet and privacy.

Set in the rural heart of the beautiful Welsh borders countryside, this quaint old cottage is located halfway between Oswestry (7 mls) and Welshpool (10mls) on the A483. We are 15 miles west of Shrewsbury. There are local buses available to Oswestry, Welshpool and Shrewsbury, with rail links from Welshpool to Shrewsbury and on to Birmingham New Street and Birmingham International Airport, Manchester and Manchester iInternational Airport, Liverpool and Liverpool Airport etc.

Right on the doorstep is easy access to attractions such as many National Trust properties, Offa's Dyke, the Montgomery, Llangollen and Shropshire canal systems etc. It's a walker's, cyclists and explorer's paradise.

Accommodation-wise there is a private, double-sized bedroom (can be furnished if required).

Shared facilities include bath room with shower, kitchen, storage area/utility room, plus use of the sitting room

We are well served by local convenience stores/post office with banking facilities and three local pub/restaurants within a five minute walk.

I require a personal reference and an employment reference which will be taken up. Retirees would need to produce evidence of income.

My relocating tenant of five years would be happy to provide a reference for myself if necessary !!

Rent is payable monthly, preferably by BACS, and will be required in advance with one month deposit. NB: RENT INCLUDES ALL BILLS except Broadband.
