Homeshare West is looking for a thoughtful, good humoured, friendly and reliable person who is willing to support a gentleman by providing company, some help with cleaning/tidying up and cooking and sharing 2-3 vegetarian meals every week.
The householder is a retired art teacher, who enjoys company and fine art. He is a keen painter and spends many hours in his studio. He would like to share his large, quirky home with a mature person who has an interest in art and culture, philosophy and enjoys reading.
Homesharing is a low-cost accommodation arrangement. You give ten hours of your time each week helping an older person with practical tasks and provide companionship and overnight security for the householder. In return you get a pleasant room in a safe environment with very low outgoings.
Homesharing is a lifestyle choice, not for everyone, more suited to mature, reliable people. If you have the energy and commitment at the end of your working day to spend some of your evenings and weekends engaging with the householder and helping out, we would like to hear from you.
Please take a good look at the Homeshare West website before responding to this advert to get an understanding of the requirements. Also, you need to be employed and if appropriate, have the Right to Reside in the UK.
We have a thorough interview process and you will need good references and a DBS check before we can introduce you to the householder.
