Double room, 2 bed house

Double room with sunny garden views in quiet, friendly cul de sac.

I have been refurbing my house for the last 18 months. It's been a labour of love, with lots of DIY help from my friends locally, but it's getting really cosy now!

The kitchen and bathroom are brand new. In terms of appliances, there is a dishwasher and then a separate laundry area in the conservatory including a washing machine and tumble drier. The shower is electric so instantly hot at all times of day and the central heating/insulation keeps the house toasty and warm.

I do have a garage for storage if you have any bikes etc. There is a south facing back garden that is gorgeously warm in summer, but it's semi wild and is my next big project.

I commute to my office almost every day (I am a project manager for a wildlife charity) and am out at the gym or climbing centre most evenings in the week. I spend most of my weekends in Frome with friends.

I'm pretty flexible when it comes to a housemate. I'm happy to consider dogs or other pets (not cats, sadly). I would rather not have someone working full time from home if poss.

I think I would prefer to share with another woman, however I'm happy to consider a male housemate if it feels like a good fit.

While the bulk of the work on the house is done, there are some small jobs left to do in the communal areas. You'll have to be okay with the odd bit of DIY taking place at ad hoc times (mostly weekends).
