Double room in shared house available from 20 May for a couple or single. It is as close to having a flat of your own as you will find in any shared house.

This is the top floor of a town house and has an ensuite shower room & WC and a dressing room. It is good for home working, even for a couple, as there is room for a desk in the dressing room as well as in the main room.

I used this room myself whilst I worked in Portishead, but am now back in my main home. All my outgoings tenants over the last decade have left only for good reasons - buying houses, moving out of the area for work etc .

The room is in a 3 bed house and is 50m from the Marina edge, close to Waitrose, Lidl, H&W and the Posset Cup

The other occupants are middle aged. If you have ambition to live in a party house, this isn't it!

The carpets in the room, and on the stairs, were replaced yesterday. The boiler was changed last winter, so it will be reliable for you.

The rent includes all bills - council tax: gas; electricity, Virgin Broadband, water and external window cleaner.

The room has a king sized bed: dressing table; chest of drawers; 2 comfy chairs; a desk; TV; folding dining table and bedside cabinet. The dressing room has two double wardrobes built in. There is another built in storage cupboard. And the last tenant left a coffee maker for you.

The kitchen has all the things you should expect - fridge freezer; washing machine; dishwasher, electric oven: gas hob; new kettle: new microwave; crockery; cutlery and pans. I've also just bought a new upright vacuum cleaner. I will replace anything worn out or missing.

Outside there is a small garden, a garage with a little storage space for a bicycle or suitcases only Parking, for this part of the estate, is good, with one designated space and a lot of visitors spaces in the Courtyard. There are also spaces on the street.
