Sunny small double room in a two bed Victorian terrace. The room is furnished with a small double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawer, bedside table.

Fully furnished house with lounge, dining room, kitchen, large bathroom, garden, washing machine & WiFi, all bills included.

Smokers welcome but please keep this to the garden.


We are a female same sex couple, who are aware of the current housing crisis and are conscious that many people are in need of a stop gap while sourcing more permanent accommodation, something which isn’t readily available. Therefore we are offering short term let, could be longer for the right person.

We are slowly renovating the house and are keen to only have people who will look after what we have done but also understanding that it a work in progress. Therefore you must be fairly tidy, relaxed, conscientious and able to clean up after yourself. We have no gripes about taking care of all of the household chores but if you could whip the hoover around your room every now and then, that would be great. Your rent also covers all cleaning materials, loo rolls etc

We have two rescue dogs, both lovable boys but one is very sensitive to noises and loads of other things, therefore you must be sensitive to his needs ie. a dog lover. The other is a confident 5 month old puppy.
We spend a lot of time out walking. During the warmer months we are at the allotment, which often means there are free veggies up for grabs. When we are not doing these we do enjoy a pint.

This is not a party house.

Parking can be a bit of a nightmare as it is, on street permit parking. Few minutes walk from train station, town centre and bus station.
