Double Room In Lovely House In Canton

We have a spare room in our rented house in Canton, close to amenities on Cowbridge Road East and a short walk from popular shops, bars and restaurants in Pontcanna. It's also a short walk into the city centre (~20 minutes), Cardiff Central Station, and Cardiff University campus. There are also great bus and connections, and a 10 minute walk from Ninian Park train station.

The spare room is a semi-finished double with built-in wardrobe and desk (a new housemate would have to provide their own bed and mattress). There is a furnished living room, study area/library, dining room, and separate kitchen. The property also has a lovely large garden with patio area, garden furniture, and washing line. The bathroom is newly refurbished and has a seperate bath and shower, and large airing cupboard.

The photos show the house when we moved in in August 2019 (we are taking some updated photos this week!) - all communal rooms have since been furnished, and a gardener has cleared the garden.

Current housemates are Caitlin and Kate - Caitlin (25) is a second year PhD student, and Kate (27) has just finished her PhD and has started a job as a Lecturer at Cardiff University. We're both clean/tidy, sociable and also respectful of personal space.
