Double room available in friendly houseshare

As one housemate of 7 years prepares to move on, we are looking for a third housemate to join our friendly house. We have a range of interests spanning personal training, wildlife, sustainability, cycling, hiking and cooking. We are friendly and sociable, but the house is big enough to enable us to all do our own thing.

The Room
The bedroom available is the largest of the house – with a big bay window offering lots of light - perfect for plants. It has two large built-in cupboards/wardrobes and a shelved full-height cupboard on the other side of the room – so lots of storage space. Also has a lovely wooden floor. As you can see from the pictures there is room for a large desk as well as space to live in.
Besides the built-in storage the room is furnished with a king size bed for which a new mattress will be provided.

The House
We have plenty of communal space downstairs (front room, middle room, dining room, kitchen and garden) so everyone can have their own space.
As well as the three main bedrooms, we have a little single room at the back of the house for guests or use as an office. Plenty of space for bikes downstairs

The Area
The street is lovely and quiet but has a nice community spirit – it has a good mix of professionals, young families, older residents and some students. There is on-road parking with a mix of resident permit bays and freely available public parking.
The house is 2 minutes’ walk from the bars, shops, restaurants of Whitchurch road, and a few minutes more onto Crwys road. Heath park, Roath lake, Roath park all within easy walking distance.

Bills come to about £120 per month, each. We try to keep things tidy and cleaning is important to keep things looking nice, so we would need someone prepared to do their bit.
