Looking for tenants of who are going to enjoy the property and enjoy living together in a quiet residential area of Cardiff. It will suit short/mid term tenants. Sorry, but no couples, smokers or pets (not suitable being a first floor maisonette).
It is a modernised maisonette (EPC C) with one double room and two small double rooms available with a communal lounge, fully equipped kitchen and a shared bathroom with a bath and a shower. All bills are included in the price (i. e. Council tax, TV licence, electric, gas, water and WIFI - please note utilities come under a fair usage policy). There is a front and back garden maintained by a gardener on a fortnightly basis. All bedrooms have great views over towards Cardiff city centre/Penarth/Wenvoe.
This first floor maisonette in Rhiwbina has recently been furnished (beds/wardrobes/sofas/TV etc). Each bedroom has a new bed, spacious fitted wardrobe, desk, chair, mirror and shelves etc.
The maisonette is located in the quiet suburb of Rhiwbina with a 10 min walk to Llanishen Fach shops, a 15 min walk to the shops/restaurants in Rhiwbina village and a short drive (all under 7 mins) to Sainsburys, Morrisons, Lidl, Aldi and Asda
Its location provides easy access to the M4 (junction 32)/A470 and is less than a 15 min drive into the city centre. The maisonette is on a quiet street it has a drive for parking one (possibly two) cars plus lots of on road parking available (no permits required)
It’s only a 3 mins walk from the bus stops for routes 21 and 23 that go past University Hospital Wales (Birchgrove/Cross Inn stops), through Whitchurch (the New Velindre hospital) and into the city centre (Westgate Street) approx. every 30 mins during the day. Rhiwbina train station is a 15 min walk away and takes you into Queen Street station in the city centre. You can also catch bus route 27 from the Nine Giants pub (approx. 15 min walk) with frequent buses going past University Hospital Wales (Birchgrove/Cross Inn stops) into the city centre (Westgate Street) approx. every 10 mins during peak travel times
For those keen on the gym, pool and fitness classes there is Rhiwbina recreation centre (tennis etc), JD Gyms, Llanishen leisure centre, Bannatynes and the village hotel – all within a 6 min drive
Nearby there are lovely walks up the Wenallt forest and then onwards to Caerphilly mountain or Castell Coch (Forest Fawr) which is very popular for mountain bilking as well as walking
The nearest pub (Deri Inn) is a 10 min walk with other popular pubs only a short distance further.
A little about me - I live in Cardiff and am a landlord to mainly student properties in Cathays and also have a few residential/professional properties in North Cardiff that I rent out. I rent and manage my properties.
No deposit is required but two months’ rent in advance is required, there are no administrative fees (no letting agents involved) but a non-refundable reservation fee of £60 is taken which comes off the first months’ rent.
