Lovely home seeks new housemate

We are looking for another friendly housemate to share a very spacious, well decorated and appointed house, the aim being to continue a warm and sociable home life.

Rooms:

1) At the front of the house with one large bay window and another small window overlooking the road, a king size bed, bedside table with bedside light, a very large wardrobe (c.3m wide) and dresser / draw unit, with two chairs.

2) In the middle of the house, with a large tilt and turn window overlook the side return space and the garden. There is a double bed, two beside tables, a bed-side light, a large dressing table with a chair and lots of draw space. One alcove aside the chimney has a set of shelves and the other a wardrobe.

3) A larger than usual backroom, with a large tilt and turn window overlooking the garden. It has a a small-double bed (though, which is full length as we had a 6ft+ housemate). There is a bedside table and light; large wardrobe and chest-of-draws, with shelving in the alcove aside the chimney. The room has just been renovated, with insulation under the relayed laminate floor and a refresh of the decoration.

In the rest of the house there is:

A large and well equipped kitchen (including an electric hob and oven, clothes washing machine, clothes dryer, microwave, kettle and toaster; all the crockery and cutlery you might need).

Middle living-room, with two large sofas, music system, TV, electric fireplace and coffee tables, plus storage for books etc.

Garden sun-room with an extending dining table and 8 chairs in total. One of the current housemates using this as a home work space.

Study/second living-room with a large desk and chair in the bay window overlooking the street, coffee table, and where a double chesterfield sofa bed offers space for ad hoc guests. This room is currently not used during the day, so would suit someone looking for a separate home work area.

The hall has a bench seat and a shoe cabinet; as well as all the fuse boxes and gas meters.

A good-sized upstairs bathroom, with a shower and toilet, and a downstairs toilet, with the boiler kept out of the way.

At the back of the house is a paved south facing garden (lots of 'summer' sun) with a few established fruit and veggie plants. Other boarders are underused, so would suit someone interested in home gardening or growing.

There is a garage opening onto the lack lane, which has secure gated access at each end. This is ideal for bikes, which are expressly not allowed in the house to avoid clutter and damage; and it could be used for a car where the currently stored items can be negotiated.

The house is central heated with Nest control, and has double glazing. It currently has SKY broadband with wireless connection, and digital TV channels (with other services available on.

For the environmentally minded, all energy comes from Ecotricity's 100% Green Tariff.

The house is located just off Whitchurch Rd, where there is a very good Co-operative, many takeaways, and an increasing amount of other cafes, restaurants and places to socialise. We're also very close to an excellent doctors on Wendel Rd, and of course the Heath hospital and bypass.

Ideally, we'd like a similar aged and sociable professional or older PhD/medical students, relatively tidy, who are looking for a relaxed and comfortable home. We enjoy going out, Tv watching, a bit of culture, sport and having friends around for dinner.
