Room To Rent With Writer...!

Hi, I'm Jon (house owner & flatmate!)...

I've recently left full time employment to chase a writing career & I'm looking for a fairly quiet house mate to share with. (If you prefer movies to partying, that works!)

House is in a quiet street next to Waungron Park train station, ten minutes from the city centre and five minutes from Llandaff village (pubs, shops etc.) My room is in the attic conversion and I'm rarely here anyway, so plenty of privacy/space in the room below. (Single room now occupied by very quiet IT engineer from italy.)

If I'm forced back into regular employment, I'll be working away midweek. So this might suit a professional working a contract in Cardiff. Happy to discuss short-term etc.

Few house rules... No parties sorry! I'm too old and the walls are too thin for late/drunk nights. Obviously if you have a partner or a friend visit that's cool, but no one back after pub/town etc. Sorry to be a grump! Haha

That said, I'm a keen cook and love doing a big Sunday roast every week, more the merrier. I do the food, you get the wine, music chosen by committee!

That's pretty much the rule. All decisions made together.

Little more info on the house/rooms...

Bathroom is on ground level.
Kitchen is small but I've made a lot of space.
Double room comes with large built in wardrobes.
Single comes with small cupboard/drawers/rail.
Decorate them however you want but I have painted them and made them very presentable... For a bloke!
I've also cleared a lot of storage space so happy to help if the bedroom alone isn't quite enough. No furniture though sorry, just bags/boxes etc.
