Double room available in 2/3-bed terraced house in the Roath / Penylan area.

I bought the house in July 2016 and am looking to rent the second bedroom from the beginning of March onwards for a short-term period. My housemate moved out in October after 2.5 years, to live with her boyfriend.

The house is clean and homely. It has 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. It also has a loft conversion with a double sofa bed, which is great if you wanted friends to stay, or as a second living room!
The house and room are by no means huge, and the kitchen is small, but it's a terraced Victorian house with high ceilings so never feels cramped :)

It’s about a 20-minute walk to the edge of town (museum end) and just 2 minutes away from Wellfield and Albany Road. Roath Park (in particular the Recreation Ground) is just at the end of the street, so it's perfect for runners or picnics/BBQs in the summer.

I'm quite flexible in coming to an arrangement and will consider various-term lets.

Rent is £420pcm with all bills (Council Tax, Gas, Electricity, Water, Broadband and BT TV) included. I'd be looking for a deposit of £250 as a bond.

About Me

I'm 29 and work in Cardiff Bay for an engineering firm. I walk or cycle (Nextbike) to work most days and while it’s a bit of a trek (50 minutes), I really enjoy it! In my spare time I like to run and/or exercise and am pretty sociable so am often out for after-work drinks or watching some kind of sport (especially rugby). Ideally my housemate would have similar interests and want to socialise too, rather than just be a person to fill a room.

The house has a small back garden that is more of a courtyard, but has a small table in it (and some fairy lights, of course).

Roath Recreation Ground is amazing in the spring and summer and is just at the end of the road!
