Double room in 2 bed flat around Cardiff Bay

Hi there! – I am looking to move out of my flat soon so helping my current flatmate find a replacement.

The total cost is around £500 a month. Broken down as follows:
The rent is £350 each pcm, directly payable to the landlord through a a standing order. All other bills and council tax total around £150 max pcm and shall be paid through Alvy, the surviving housemate. Exact details will be provided.

The Landlord has requested a previous reference and proof of income sufficient to cover rent so would appreciate if we could accommodate this request.

The flat is on the top floor in a quiet neighborhood, located kinda halfway between town center and mermaid quay, making it is a pretty sweet location to be in..

My room is the first door on the right as you enter the flat, just opposite the kitchen. Perfect for those late night snacks and in good range of the tap. The room is a really good size (12' X 14') and you can move things around periodically to keep it fresh. It currently fits a double bed, a wardrobe, one bedside table, a desk & chair as well as an armchair so there is plenty of room. I will be taking my armchair with me so it leaves even more room!

The views outside can be beaut, depending on time of the year (see the fourth photo).

The kitchen is sizable and separated from the lounge so you can cook in peace and without making the house smell delicious (if that's your thing). Please note, the bread in the picture is not included. But I do recommend seeded for the extra fibre. The pots, pans and utensils may be, depending on what I leave behind.

The Lounge comes with two leather sofas plus some ugly things that we can't get rid of as they came with the house. We have added a rug since moving in so it's all a bit more mismatched but cozy.

There is one toilet which comes with a bath tub & shower combo. Not gonna lie, it's never been used as a bath tub.

A bit about Alvy – He is a quiet guy, who loves his own space and is very kind, patient and knowledgeable. We both keep the flat quite clean so that is a MUST for him. We have become really close friends, so I'll be visiting from time to time. He loves good music and always has good recommendations on offer.
