The room is painted white with new grey carpet, overlooking the rear garden which is partially laid to lawn with a raised decking/seating area. Use of the lounge and newly fitted kitchen (shared spaces). Small Bathroom (shared) with electric shower over bath. Dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and separate freezer, electric oven with gas hob, toaster, kettle, slow cooker. Broadband, Netflix, and Prime Video.
All amenities on High Street are within walking distance: weekly Farmers Market, various bars, cafes, restaurants, pubs, delis, Waitrose, Filco, Tesco, Savers, independent boutiques, Leisure Centre, GP surgery, Pharmacies, bus stops, Library and Hair & Beauty salons. Close to Heritage Coastline. 15/20 mins from Culverhouse Cross by car. The "X2" bus runs through Cowbridge to Cardiff City Centre via Culverhouse Cross & Cardiff Bay regularly. I’m looking for a clean, tidy, quiet, trustworthy, respectful housemate who likes animals. If you're not an animal lover, please don’t waste time applying. I have 1 elderly cat & 1 rescue dog. You will be responsible for cleaning your own room, buying your own toiletries & food, recycling your own rubbish, and be willing to take turns cleaning the shared/common areas. I work full-time Mon-Fri and occasionally I work from home during the week. I have a horse, so I spend my free time at the stables or walking the dog.
Price is based on someone who works away from the house for 5 days out of 7. However, if you WFM, the price will increase to take account of the additional utilities’ usage (to be discussed and agreed).
Monthly Fee includes contribution towards Broadband, TV Licence, and other utilities which are metered. Council Tax Band E.
A "Lodger/Licence Agreement" will be put in place (purchased via this site [solicitor-approved]).
**1 month’s fee payable in advance plus £200 security deposit against any damages and/or defaults**
1 months’ notice is required upon termination from both parties (non-negotiable).
Would suit someone needing something temporary.
Would also suit a contractor working in the area Monday-Friday.
Minimum Stay of 1 month. Strictly no smoking inside or outside the house. Vaping is fine.
