A Room In Open-Minded And Friendly 4-Bed Flat :)

Hi! My name is Shona (they/she) I'm 26 and I work in childcare here in Sheffield. I live with my pals Summer (25) and Maddie (23) in our lovely little flat in the west one development. Our other housemate sadly had to move back to Australia, so we have a room available to move in in March.

The flat has 4 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (a full bathroom, a full shower room and a toilet) a fully fitted, open-plan kitchen and living room with a dining area, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer, as well as access to a shared garden area. The development houses students and professionals. The rent is £540 per month which includes everything (plus on-site gym!).

Ideally, we're looking for someone laid-back and open-minded who'd hope to get on well and become friends, rather than just strangers sharing a flat! We're a mix of introverts and extroverts but all enjoy good company and respect people's space. The flat is already home to queer, trans, disabled and BAME identities, and we welcome diversity with open arms :) due to vulnerability, it is also important that our housemates are covid vaccinated and willing to test if necessary!

This is my 3rd year in the flat and it looks much more lived in now than it does in these barren pics! We do expect everyone to pitch in to keep our communal areas clean and hygienic, especially cooking areas and bathrooms, but we're not too worried about a bit of mess. There's a nice community vibe as we share things (consensually hahah) and help each other out.

We enjoy cooking and exploring all of Sheffield's tasty food and drinks, we also like to watch shows and play videogames/boardagmes together. I also love making music, winning pub quizzes (sometimes), visiting galleries and museums and going to gigs and raves! Also always up for crafts and being creative. As you may have guessed, we're also into activism, lefty politics, etc :)
