I'm 37 and a Civil Servant. I recently moved into my three-bed terrace house and I'm looking for a lodger.
I enjoy hiking, board games, literature, stand-up comedy, politics, philosophy and film. I'd love to live with someone who would be a potential friend. I want my renter to feel happy and at home in the house. If you're interested, please message telling me a bit about yourself.
It's a good size double room with lots of light. It has a double bed with brand new mattress, a large chest of drawers, a clothing rack and a desk. I can add a desk chair and possibly an armchair, if desired. It's a bit white and bare at the minute, but if you decide to stay long-term you can make it your own :-)
It's £500 all bills included, including energy, water, council tax and wifi. Rent could be flexible for the right person. I would consider charging less for someone who only wanted the room Monday-Friday, for example. I would like a long-term renter ideally, but in the beginning I would like only a max three-month commitment while we get to know each other.
Important: you must like dogs! I have a four-month-old husky/collie mix named Gus. He's a cheeky little fucker and also the best boy.
I work from home, so I'm here a lot! Ideally you will not work from home full-time, but that's not a requirement.
I love my new home. Maybe it could be your home too 😀
