Room to rent in Northwood home

Hi! My name is Sophia and I’m looking for a roommate for my spare room in my house in Northwood. Rent would be £500 and this would be with bills included. (Gas, electric, Wi-Fi, council tax and water). The gas is subject to change due to the costs going up later in the year so we can just discuss this when the time comes.

I live right by the canal and we have a few pubs close by, as well as being very close to Hanley. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the street and we also have parking on the street if you drive.

The house has two bedrooms, and a loft. The spare room is the smaller room but it also has some storage space for your things. My room has a built in wardrobe which I’m happy to share if you wanted to. The room does come unfurnished unfortunately but every other room is, I will be buying a replacement sofa once my roommate moves out too if he chooses to take it with him.

There is a garden with decking which is quite big and ideal in the summer and for having people over. And there is a large kitchen/middle room, I use this as my working from home space but my desk is big enough for two if you wanted to use it (it’s an L shape desk).

In terms of what I’m looking for, I’m not very fussy just someone who is tidy and maybe has some similar interests to me. I know it sounds cliché but I would like to be friends with whoever I live with and potentially be able to go out with them. I also have a golden retriever puppy that would be with me (a month on and off) so you’d need to love dogs and be happy to give him love because he will definitely ask for it!

As I’m renting through an agency you’d have to go through the referencing checks through them and you may need to pay a fee for changing the name on the agreement - this shouldn’t be much, and I won’t be asking for a deposit so this takes it’s place!
