Owner and dog in rural location need lodger

Retired manager and his well-behaved labrador dog are looking for a lodger to share a house surrounded by fields with views of Box Hill. The room overlooks the back garden and is furnished with a double bed, built in cupboard/storage, a desk and a chest of drawers all of which could possibly be changed if preferred.
A radiator in the room is heated by a back boiler on the wood burning stove which is alight most of the winter, an electric heater will also be available.
Communal areas include a bath and toilet upstairs and a toilet downstairs with washing machine, dryer etc. A large extension has recently been added providing three seating areas, two TV’s, a kitchen and a dining area with views out to the garden.
I am away quite often particularly in the summer so am planning for the successful applicant to water plants, maybe occasionally feed/walk the dog (although she usually goes with me) and generally look after the place in my absence, the rental is a bit lower to reflect this contribution.
Own transport will be needed and can be parked on the driveway, there is a bus five minutes away and Dorking stations would be about 20/30 minutes walk. Railway tracks run past the rear garden, the line is not busy and the bank is home to foxes and badgers.
A 15 minute walk will take you to Brockham Village with amenities including a local shop, hairdressers and several pubs nearby.
Generally the house is quiet but occasionally family/visitors plus additional dogs may stay for a few days. I have a biweekly cleaner, however the situation would better suit someone with experience of living with pets. An additional dog could be considered if they would fit in.
