Shared, bright open plan refurbished modern kitchen diner and living room that looks out onto the garden, also with Smart TV. On street parking. The house is 15 mins drive from Dorking and Cranleigh, 25 minutes from Horsham and 35 minutes from Gatwick.. Located at the foothills of beautiful Surrey Hills with the countryside on the doorstep and the fantastically refurbished country pub 'the Parrot' just a few minutes walk away. Closest stations are Ockley (7 min drive) and Holmwood (10 min drive).

We are creative and very busy professionals who are very clean and tidy. We have a small rescue dog. Looking for someone who is also clean and tidy and open-minded (we read the Independent and Guardian) .and wanting to stay for a minimum of 1 month. We are respectful of space and easy-going and have had three lodgers who have stayed for a combined 3.5 years and really enjoyed the experience.

We also have an easy-going and charming 15-year-old son who is studying for his GCSEs. I have a BA in English and an MA in Creative Writing and have run two yoga businesses for 22 years but taken a step back from the London commute to run a cafe and complete my novel. Andy, my partner, has a BA in Furniture Design and runs a company fixing amplifiers and speakers whilst also running a business restoring antique desks and chests.

When we'e not working, we chill out in the evenings, cooking, gardening and catching up on TV and generally spend the weekends getting the house in order for the coming week and delving into our various creative pursuits or seeing friends.
