The big bathroom beside the 2 downstairs bedrooms has a fabulous shower, a jacuzzi bath and 2 basins with plenty of storage space. The family bedrooms are upstairs, so there is a degree of privacy with the bathroom shared only with the other lodger.
There is a large (60m2) open plan living, kitchen, and dining area. There are 2 dishwashers in the kitchen and the 2 lodgers share their own fridge. The living area is spacious and furnished with 2 leather sofas and a gas fire. The adjacent utility room has a washing machine and tumble drier as well as line drying space that is supplemented with an outdoor clothesline. The family also have a private lounge and a kids playroom.
The spacious garden is accessed via double doors and has 3 patio areas with 2 sets of outdoor furniture – one by a little wildlife pond and the other with a large parasol. There is a Weber BBQ and a lockable shed for bikes.

The house is in an enviable location in a quiet street with lots of very old houses. It’s right on the edge of the North Downs hills with superb access to the countryside with many walks straight from the front door.

Transport links
The A3 is easily accessed for London, Portsmouth, and the M25.
Trains from Guildford mainline take 35 minutes to Waterloo, or from a smaller local station (West Clandon) taking 50 mins.
Buses leave from either end of the street.
We cycle around town a lot taking 15 mins to get into town. It’s walkable too taking 40minutes. The other lodger cycles to the University in 20 mins.

All bills are included (council tax, water & sewage, gas, electricity, TV licence and excellent Virgin superfast Broadband). The room is "single occupancy" only.

This is a family house so will feel more than just a place to lay your head: it feels like home! The household comprises 2 professional adults and their 2 boys (aged 11 and 13) and a lovely French Vet studying for a PhD. We also have 2 dogs.
