Large Double Room in 2 bed flat

FINAL VIEWINGS MONDAY AND TUESDAY

I am looking for a new housemate to fill a room in Mitcham (Brenley Park development). I have been living in the flat for over two years and the landlady is happy for me to find a tenant to take a large double room when my friend moves out at the end of July.

The flat has a large livingroom/ kitchen with a balcony that gets direct sun until about 12pm. I have an en-suite so the large bathroom is pretty much for single use. Lots of storage in bedroom and cupboards.

Transport links are pretty good as Mitcham Eastfields has trains running to Victoria and thameslink through centra London.

Mitcham common is 2 minutes away and is great for hanging out and nice walks. There’s also a big lawn in front of the house that has been great for sunbathing with a book recently.

I work a few days from home and a few days in the city but spend a lot of time out of the house (usually in the park, cinema or theatre). I have a nice group of friends who live locally and it would be nice to find someone who wants a mix of socialising but respects down time too. I have a lot of houseplants (20) and enjoy cooking and having people over (when permitted). I sometimes meditate, do Pilates and am part zen and peaceful/ part fun loving joker. I’ve recently progressed from lazy student to being totally house proud so looking for someone happy to keep the communal areas clean and tidy.

In the house I spend a fair amount of time watching tv/ listening to music. I enjoy cooking and have friends who pop over every now and then.

Looking for someone easy going, fun, respectful and transparent- we don’t have to be best mates, but being able to coexist in harmony is a must.
