I live in the downstairs area of the house: the flat is entirely self contained, but I'm happy for you to use the garden, washing machine and kitchen if you needed the full size oven. I'm a retired police officer and my wife works in another part of the country so one or both of us are often away from home. We have a dog and sometimes a cat on the premises and when we reside there.
