Warm Double Bedroom - Modern Bright House

Our Victorian terraced house is very spacious and has been completely renovated in a modern and practical style.
We are a group of girls and boys in there 20’s and 30’s — a mix of students and professionals. We are a social bunch, and occasionally have parties or BBQs on the odd weekend, but at the same time still respect each other’s space and keep noise down in the night.

We are looking for a clean, tidy and enthusiastic person who has lived away from home before and has some common sense to share with us and enjoy the house....

Experience has shown that the house works best when there is a 50/50 mix of boys and girls. So at present we are looking for a girl to move in to keep the balance. The house consists of 6 bedrooms (one en-suite), 2 shower rooms with WC, large kitchen, large dining room and large sitting room.
We currently have available a Warm Double glazed room with built in desk, wardrobe and storage and floor to ceiling mirror. Available from 1st January. Cheapest room in the house as it is smaller than the others - £270 pcm
The house is located on a quiet residential road with little through traffic, although close to the main bus route. The local Tesco’s, Spar, Boots, newsagents, and pubs are 1 minute walk away, while the university is only 13 minutes (actual walking times unlike some other adverts). If you need a little more of a retail fix, then the town centre is an 18 minute walk or 5 min bus ride. Alternatively, the 100 acres of open space in Singleton Park, and the 5 miles of beach are equally as close.

All Rooms have TV/FM, Broadband & Telephone points. All Rooms are networked - meaning you can share broadband throughout the house, but the house also has wireless Broadband throughout.

Kitchen: Large (3.3m by 5.7m), Ikea kitchen. Plenty of space to prepare your meals, with 9 meters of work surface space. Stainless Steel 6 Burner Hob Gas Cooker, Stainless Steel Double Convection Oven, Stainless Steel Cooker Hood, Microwave, Stainless Steel Double Sink, Dishwasher, 2 (Yes TWO) Large Fridge/Freezers, Washing Machine, Tumble dryer. Kitchen comes fully equipped with pots, pans, plates etc

Dining Room: Large (5.1m by 3.6m), with large table, chairs, sideboard, double glazed roof/conservatory.

Living Room: Large (5.1m by 4.0m), with large 42inch TV, HD PROJECTOR, DVD surround sound system, coffee table, 2 three seater leather sofas, 2 leather arm chairs, double glazed. Patio doors to garden.

Rent is exclusive of all bills, but to make everyone’s life easy, the landlord works them out every month and split them 6 ways.
We have a professional cleaner who visits the house regularly to do the main cleaning as part of the bills, but there is also a cleaning rota for some of the other tasks and each house member is required to pitch in.
The house is generally fairly tidy – so no slobs please.

The landlord lives close and on the odd occasion we have had things break or go wrong he fixes them very quickly.
