Double bedroom 10 minute walk from Moseley village, a 7 minute walk to a local co-working space, and the 50 bus stop, which connects to the city centre. All bills, fibre internet, and household cleaning products and consumables are included. The road is quiet and has friendly neighbours.

The bedroom is furnished with period feature wood floors, a double bed, wardrobe, a large chest of drawers, a bedside table, lamps, and a desk and chair.

There's a living room with a wood burner, and a large open plan kitchen and dining room which is great for hanging out on weekends.

There is lock-up space for a bike in a locked alleyway down the side of the house, and on street parking. The garden is lovely in the summer, and has patio furniture with a parasol, and a gas barbecue for when the weather is nice. There's also a wood store for garden fires and the wood burner in the evening. The house also comes with a (shared) key fob for the park in Moseley.

The house will be three people in total, you, housemate Michelle (F 28), myself (Mike, 42), and Pix (my cat). Michelle enjoys nature walks and works in the care sector. I enjoy climbing, travelling, and festivals.

We are looking for a friendly, tidy, like-minded person who would like to occasionally eat together and hang out. We'd prefer someone who works approximately daytime hours (and/or the occasional evening) rather than nights or late at night, so that the house is more or less in sync. Will consider small pets, but not cats or dogs since Pix does not get on well with them.

Also, we are looking for someone who isn't planning to work from home, or at least exceptionally. However there are reasonably priced co-working spaces nearby. With current energy prices, the cost of heating a home for an extra 35-40 hours per week in the colder months is far more expensive than a co-working membership. We'd prefer not to have communal spaces used as an office throughout the week, and it's now clear that working full time in a bedroom is not good for mental health.
