The house is a 4 minute walk to Bournville Station, 8 minutes by train to University of Birmingham and QE hospital, 15 minutes from Birmingham city centre. Enjoy the buzz of the City, then come home to leafy Bournville – a conservation area, which puts people first. The famous 11 bus takes you to elegant Harborne or ‘cool’ Kings Heath in 15 mins. In 4 minutes’ walk we have: an excellent ‘artisanal’ bakery, several ‘micro breweries’ hosting interesting events, Cotteridge park, with classes in outdoor tai chi, yoga, tennis, ‘forest management’ etc

My academic career at University of Birmingham gave me the chance to travel extensively:
I enjoy meeting people from different countries and professional backgrounds and learning about their interests. My main interests are in the arts – live music, theatre, cinema, drawing/painting classes and spending time with friends. I ‘vape’ in the house but have the odd cigarette in the garden.
