Hiya. I’m moving into my fellas house and my housemate and I are looking for someone to take my place in a lovely house share in Kings Heath. The house is in a great location, about 10 min walk to kings heath high street, 5 minutes to the pub/shops, far enough away from traffic to be quiet, but close enough to be convenient. The house has 3 bedrooms but one is just used as storage/an office, so you’d kinda have 2.5 bedrooms. There’s a decent garden with some decking to use for bbqs or sunbathing (if it ever stops raining) in the summer, a cozy living room with an open fire, a garage for storing bikes or whatever else, a dining/reception room, an upstairs bathroom with shower over bath, a downstairs utility room and bathroom, and of course, a kitchen. The house also has a washer, dryer, double wide American style fridge, brand new energy efficient boiler, and smart metre heating system.

Gary is a lovely, clean, considerate and friendly housemate who works mon-fri, 9-5, and sometimes on weekends. He’d ideally like someone who is as chilled as him and wouldn’t mind a cheeky pint or two down the pub occasionally, but isn’t a total party animal. His 9yo son visits occasionally but doesn’t live in the house.

Bills are split between the two housemates and are paid directly to the landlord. They work out to about £100-140/mo each and that includes everything (even wifi).

The room is a warm and lovely double at the rear of the house with a big bay window overlooking the garden. It’s lovely and quiet, and more than spacious enough for a double bed and furniture. It comes unfurnished but I have a wardrobe and chest or drawers if you need them.

The garden is mostly dog friendly and pets are allowed.
