Redecorated Double Room - convenient location

A recently redecorated double room in a 2 bedroom 1st floor maisonette with a private garden.

There is only on street parking here, which can be a bit busy, so it may be more suitable for someone who doesn't drive. There is a short alleyway to the A22, where there are bus stops on both sides. You can also catch buses on Lingfield Road, which my road leads off. East Grinstead rail station is about 10 minutes walking distance, depending on your pace. Aldi is even closer, and at a fast pace I can walk to the old High Street where you find Rocca (Turkish / Mediterranean) restaurant etc. in 15 minutes. So, everything in the town centre is close by, and Sainsbury's by the station. When the Lidl store opens, that will be about a 5 minutes walk. There is also a park nearby on Lingfield Road, plus woods and other green spaces about 10-15 minutes walks away.

I have a very sweet, affectionate rescue cat called Edgar, who can be a little jumpy at times, so I'm looking for someone who likes cats and will be mindful of him.

The room measures 3.29m x 3.30m. Current furniture: wood framed bed with brand new mattress, solid oak wardrobe, pine drawers, bed-side table, freestanding light (optional). Open to discussing other furniture, shelving, pictures etc.

The room is overlooking gardens to the rear. My garden is behind the ground floor neighbours', accessed by a path from the front door.

There is a good size living / dining room, bathroom re-fitted within the last couple of years, kitchen with water dispensing fridge, air fryer, microwave and dishwasher (can be used more when the room is let).

I'm pretty easy going, not much of a drinker, like the outdoors and arty stuff. I'm a qualified SCUBA instructor, practice meditation, recently graduated in photography (studied remotely and very slowly) and interested in other arts, also like running, swimming....
