The Bedroom

Self-contained suite of rooms available in this cottage in private grounds, 4 miles south of East Grinstead and 8 miles from Haywards Heath. This consists of a bedroom with its shower room and loo, as well as share (with only one other) of the adjoining sitting room and large balcony. These rooms are separate from the rest of the house, being the only ones upstairs. (I have my own sitting room downstairs).

The rooms are well-furnished with plenty of storage space - the divan bed has under-bed drawers. Adjoining the bedroom is a comfortable shared sitting room, with patio doors to a large balcony, giving wide views of the South Downs.

These are the only rooms upstairs. A door at the bottom of the stairs separates them from the rest of the house. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned once a week and the bed linen and towels changed.

Downstairs, there is a shared farmhouse-type kitchen, with patio doors to the garden; as well as all the normal kitchen equipment and a round table with chairs. The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer; and a fridge/freezer. Also downstairs is the shared dining room, as well as my own rooms..

There is plenty of parking space in the drive. The other four cottages here have just one occupier in each, so it is very quiet.

The most important thing is the happy and relaxed atmosphere. You can be as sociable or as private as you please. You are welcome to come and visit, with no expectations on either side.
