Double room in large house bathroom

My house is a three bedroom property in the countryside. You would need your own transport, as there is none, apart from the weekly bus run by volunteers! Close to sheep farming and the like, it is beautiful, quiet and great if you love walking the Downs. 10 minutes from Arundel station and all the amenities there.

There is a nice long drive for your car, a garage for your bicycle if you have one and a cafe nearby. The nearest pub is across the highway, otherwise it's the George at Eartham.

I live with my shy and skittish cat, who may or may not take to you and/ or your cat as a friend. I am happy to let them meet. They will decide if they get along!

The room is a large double, north facing and it is furnished.
WiFi is included, as are bills and Council tax (which is Band F). You would have use if the utility room, kitchen and lounge. I work four days a week in Chichester as a Lecturer and I have my own Art studio so, I can often be found in there painting or print making.

On the whole I am quiet, and would like a quiet person as well.
I live alone (widowed three years ago) and am really starting to enjoy being single and independent now.

The priority is for me to have a quiet, yet fun, pleasant, well mannered mature professional.

It sounds like I'm a bit dour but I'm actually fun - although my idea of fun is laughter and friendship but not in a party - party kind of way!

I love cooking, so you might also get the odd meal provided (I hate waste)! You will also enjoy cooking for yourself and will have the use of my range style cooker - it has two fan ovens and a grill, with gas hob. Fridge freezer and dishwasher etc in kitchen too. I'm gluten and carb free although we do have a toaster, recently purchased in case you are not! I have seafood allergies as well as caffeine intolerance (although I like the challenge of making low carb food taste amazing)!
Lots of supermarkets within a 20 minute drive, as well as two farm shops - Goodwood at one end and Charlie's farm shop at the other.
