I'm looking for a new housemate to share 4-storey Victorian house on a quiet road high on the hill in Heaton, a village on the edge of Bradford. Your space would be on the first floor of the house - bedroom, study (or second bedroom), and bathroom. Your own dining kitchen is a large room in the basement, fully furnished with gas oven, fridge/freezer, cupboards and sink. There is a shared washing machine in the basement. There is a bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers in the bedroom, and a desk and chair in the study/second bedroom. Ideally I'd be looking for one person to share with but would consider a couple.
There is a bus stop at the end of the road served by two buses, one into Bradford city centre, the other into Shipley centre. There is a post office/pharmacy, a cafe, a Chinese takeaway, and two general store type shops. Across the road from the shops is St Bede’s & St Joseph’s school. It is a 7-minute walk to reach Heaton Woods and Lister Park. It’s a 15 min walk to Frizinghall station at the bottom of the hill, from which trains run to Leeds and out to Saltaire, Skipton, and the Dales. Bradford Royal Infirmary is 5 mins by car, 26 by bus or walking.
