Listing because I have a new job in London so I’m not in the flat very often anymore but my current lodger is still there. He works from home and goes into the office in Leeds.

The flat
It’s a 3 bedroom flat.

This listing if for the large main bedroom with an en-suite.

If you were looking for a cheaper option, I would be happy to rent out the third bedroom for £295 + bills. You’d have to buy your own bed for the room though. Probably most suited to a single or a small double (you know those kind of single and a half beds you get at uni).

The living room is very girly. Velvet sofas and lots of pink and gold but very cute.

The location
I’m right near the motorway if you need to drive to work or there is a bus stop just over the road which takes you into the city in about 40 minutes. A taxi to the city costs around £10 usually. There is also a train station which is a 30 minute walk or £4.50 taxi ride away.

There is an Asda, Morrisons, Aldi and M&S foodhall all within a mile or so.

Me
I work Monday to Friday in London. I’m not ready to let go of my beautiful flat and lovely life in Leeds though so I will be back some weekends. I’ll move into whichever room isn’t rented but obviously have the main room at the moment.

James
James works in compliance and is sometimes in the office, sometimes at home. He loves going out for a drink and likes watching football and F1. He’s also partial to a good tv series, we used to meet in the living room to watch Good Girls together.

James is fairly tidy and I would expect the flat to be kept clean and looked after in my absence.

Other bits
If you are renting for less than 6 months rent would be £450 + bills for the big room or the small would be £325.

Bills will be primarily split between you and James and I will pay my fair share depending on how often I’m there.

For my new housemate:
I would really like someone that gets along with James so it will be his final say rather than mine (you’d think he owned the place not me!)

Someone who is tidy and respectful and friendly would be ideal.

Unfortunately pets aren’t allowed in the building.
