Large Double Ensuite in Burley

A large double bedroom has become available in my two bedroom house in Burley from 1 August 2020.

The room is spacious, fully furnished and has its own en-suite bathroom with shower. The room is on the top of the house, which is a classic Leeds back to back and has the benefit of being the only room on that floor and so gives you your own space in the house. Large windows let in lots of light and give you a great view of Leeds.

I bought the house in 2018 and completely redecorated with new carpets, furniture and kitchen appliances. The room is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table. Bedding and towels can also be provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, cutlery and cooking equipment.

There is a shared kitchen/living space on the ground floor, a small front garden and on street parking. The house is in a fantastic location with Aldi, Asda and a Vue Cinema a few minutes walk away. Kirkstall Road is nearby with great pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The house is walking distance from the universities and has very convenient public transport links with Burley Park Station a few minutes away and regular buses on Kirkstall Road and Burley Road. It is a 30-40 minute walk to Leeds City centre and 20-25 minutes to the universities.

All bills are included except council tax as I am a student until January 2021.

A bit about me: I am an artist and currently working on a practice-based PhD in sculpture at Leeds Beckett University. I like cooking, playing netball, going to exhibitions and spending time with friends. I will occasionally be hosting exhibitions in my front garden, so if you have an interest in art then that would be a bonus!
