Hello! My current Spareroom. com lodger is moving out towards the end of the summer to go and live down south, so I’m looking for a new lodger from Sept/Oct onwards but in no rush, I’d prefer to spend my time finding the right person to share my home with than rush.

The room available is a fully Furnished large attic room with a double bed. Includes all bills, internet, bed and triple wardrobe, TV in room if wanted, shelves and blackout blind. Shared bathroom with walk in shower and bath. There is a washing machine, shared kitchen and backyard. 5mins walk to New Pudsey train station for excellent connections to Leeds or Bradford, 10 mins to either city. Also Farsley high street with cafes, shops, art gallery and brewery are only a short walk away, there is even a monthly farmers market. It’s also 5min walk to 24hour Asda and Go Outdoors.


The house is large enough for us not to bother each other but I’m also quite sociable if you want a film night and a natter. I’m a teacher and will be out at work Mon-Thurs daytimes and I’m away several weekends and month. I’m often out at gigs too as I love heavy music! I also love photography, country walks, quizzes, films and travel. I’m really friendly and chatty but also respectful of peoples space.

Warning: Mavis the cat also lives in the house and makes an awesome housemate!

As I’m a live in landlord I’m really keen to find the right fit for me and Mavis so please let me know a little about yourself if you are interested.
